The Low-Energy Electron Scattering for Nucleon and Exotic Nuclei (LEES2024) will be held in Sendai, Japan during October 28 - November 1, 2024.
In recent years, two important project on low-energy electron scattering have been vigorously pursued in Japan. One is ULQ2 project at RARIS, Sendai for the measurement of proton radius and the other is SCRIT project at RIKEN, Wako for electron scattering off unstable nuclei. These projects reaffirm the importance of low-energy electron scattering and show the potential for future research. This is therefore a good time for researchers to come together to discuss the current situation and future research directions. This workshop is organized to provide such a forum and encourage the research activities.

Venue
The workshop will take place at the TOKYO ELECTRON House of Creativity located in Tohoku University Katahira Campus. This location is approx. 15-minute walk or 5 minute by taxi from the West Exit of Sendai Station. (Website: https://www.tfc.tohoku.ac.jp/)
At last day of the workshop, Nov. 1st , the workshop will be held at RARIS in Mikamine. We plans to prepare a transportation bus to RARIS facility from Katahira Campus.
Registration, Fees
Registration will open at June 10th . Please register before Oct. 10th.
If you want to present your research, please submit title and abstract of your presentation at the registration.
Registration fee is JPY 30,000. This includes coffee break, welcome reception, excursion, and banquet.
